Karyss has lived in Southern California most of her life. As a 1st generation American, she is very proud of her Cuban heritage and is deeply connected to her roots.
She had her stage debut at age 7, and has been performing ever since. She is a dedicated advocate for Arts in Education, and has taught performing arts in under-served communities in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco for many years.
Karyss has taught dance and drama to over 750 students from ages 5 to 25.
Besides performing, Karyss also has a passion for photography, painting, and most anything creative.
